White induction wok: cast iron performance without the seasoning

White induction wok is a deliberate choice. It moves away from the traditional black finish and sits well in a modern kitchen or on the table when you have guests. Underneath the clean look is a proper cast iron wok, with everything cast iron brings to cooking: fast heat-up, thermal mass, steady performance at high temperatures. Finished with a white nano-glaze that doesn't darken over time.

Cast iron is a sound choice for wok cooking when you want consistency. It heats quickly, holds the temperature, and distributes that heat evenly across the surface. In practice, you sear meat the moment it hits the wok, hold a stable simmer for a curry, or run several batches of stir-fried vegetables without the temperature dropping between rounds. A capable tool for high-heat cooking.

The nano-glaze non-stick interior solves the main drawback of traditional cast iron woks: no lengthy seasoning before first use, no involved upkeep, no oiling after every cook. You cook from day one, with very little fat, on a surface that doesn't catch. The coating is PFOA and PFAS free and stands up to metal utensils. It's also dishwasher safe, which is rare for a cast iron wok and worth noting.

The flat magnetic base makes it compatible with all hob types: gas, induction, electric, ceramic and halogen. No compatibility issues with modern induction or mixed hobs. At 31cm internal diameter and 9cm deep, the wok holds enough for daily cooking for 3 to 4 people, and stays manageable thanks to a contained weight of 870g (1.6kg with the lid).
