Professional wok
A proper cooking tool, not a display piece. Hand-hammered surface, blue tones from heat treatment above 1000°C, round base designed for gas burners.
Hand-forged iron with no chemical coating. Season with oil before first use: gradual heating, a thin layer of oil, around fifteen minutes. The iron then builds a natural non-stick surface that improves with each use.
The fish-scale hammered surface holds oil better during seasoning, speeding up the process. The cast iron round base concentrates heat for fast temperature rise, suited to searing on a high gas flame. The silicone sleeve on the iron handle prevents slipping, even with damp hands.
At 1.7 kg in the 30 cm version, it's heavy enough for proper wok-tossing without becoming tiring. Available in 28 cm and 30 cm.
Hand wash only. Dry immediately after each use. Lid not included.
