The raw iron handles serious heat, letting you sear hard and fast for the smoky flavour known as wok hei. The 32cm diameter and 10cm depth give enough room to toss vigorously without losing food onto the hob, while the manageable weight keeps the wok workable through longer cooking sessions. Compatible with both gas and induction, so no need for a dedicated hob. On induction, the wok still heats rapidly as expected from raw iron. Metal utensils pose no risk to the surface, unlike conventional non-stick pans.

Worth knowing before you buy: a raw iron wok seasons gradually with use, as a natural protective layer builds up. Wash with hot water only, avoid harsh detergents, and dry immediately to prevent rust. Not dishwasher-safe. The trade-off is straightforward: the more you cook with it, the better it gets.
